Aimbot

Description
Adds a basic auto aim/aimbot system for weapons.

The Aimbot Maker can be purchased from Penguin Bay or alternatively accessed from Quickbar.

Using the Aimbot Maker menu, you can configure and create a custom aimbot installer that you can use to install/uninstall the aimbot to any weapon or tool that uses Starbound's default weapon controll & aiming API/Library.
If you install the aimbot on something that uses its own aiming script, then it won't function untill you right-click on it again with the installer augment (doesn't have to be the same one you used to install it) to uninstall the aimbot.

You can tell which weapons have the aimbot by the custom subtitle that the installer gives them.
Debug mode makes the aimbot display what its doing when you enable /debug.

Note that the Aimbot maker does not communicate with aimbotted weapons, in order to change settings, you have to create a new installer and right-click the weapon twice with the new installer.

The scanner is directly attached to your mouse and will offset your aim to target the closest valid target to the mouse, if it can't find a valid target within the scan radius, it will snap the weapon's aim back at the mouse.

It should work with FU, although I haven't thoroughly tested it.
If it does bug out with FU, give me your log and I'll check what the problem is.

This mod was made in response to this discussion.

If you wish to uninstall this mod. Firstly use the aimbot installer to remove the aimbot from any weapon that you installed it on, then delete all installers & the aimbot maker.

We need a magic weapon patch, if possible

I don't know why I couldn't buy it, but I was able to spawn it in and it's fantastic! Thanks for a great mod!

That's just a log of you booting up SB and immediately quitting, you need to cause SB to error for the log to have usefull data in it.

Also the colour in the mods menu doesn't mean anything, I just painted it red to look fancy..

Might have to remove it as you're not the first person to get confused by it.

It also gives me a good opportunity to remove the redundant initialization call since it's somehow causing issues according to @CondoR.

I can't get this to work at all and I have the required mod. But the mod name is always red. 🙁
I also checked the logs and have no error with this mod.

@Eebhee
2nd line in the description, from Penguin Bay for a totally not biased sum of 1337 pixels.
Alternatively its spawn ID is antr_aimbotsettings .

how do you get the aimbot?

Aimbot does not work with some weapons from some mods; When the Aimbot is installed on such a weapon, it stops firing and takes aim.
Having unpacked your mod into the file "aimbotGunAugment.lua" I commented out line 21 "Weapon:initExtra()" to "--Weapon:initExtra()", now weapons from different mods work, although I haven't tested all the weapons.

Update: This mod DOES work with bk3k's inventory mod(s) so if you are using that then you shouldn't have a problem.

Starbound isn't a rougelite on softcore or whatever (mine says casual), where you only lose pixels on death.
