DCS Genesis: T3 Frigate

The DCS Genesis line of capital vessels are designed as cost effective solutions for a first time CV purchase. All Genesis vessels are designed with CPU, Weights and Volumes, and Block Count Limits in mind. Upgrading is important too; the Genesis can be useful well into T3. It can be refitted with warp, shields, medium thrusters, retractable turrets, HV/SV docking, cargo controllers with maximum expansions, and grow plots.

Genesis Frigates are designed to safely navigate dangerous spaces. It has two rows of cannon turrets, able to dish out considerable damage during a broadside. You can use the Frigate to clear POIs of infantry, drones, and turret defenses. While it does have some additional armor around its core and critical systems, sustained or heavy fire from warships or heavily defended installations will still make quick work of a Genesis.
