*Definitive Tifa is here!*
She comes sporting a heavy rushdown focus with some mobility and her own materia system. Select 1 of 5 materias to equip and give your attacks some extra power! But that's not all, they'll also grant you extra bonuses! Just be careful as each hit will use up some mp along with it slowly draining, so make sure you use it wisely or you'll have to recharge it by landing basic attacks, or waiting for it to slowly charge.

Tips and tricks.

Materia.
Using Tifa's down special will bring up her menu which will let you pick from 6 options. You can manually select from them OR you cna use the new quick select commands. Pressing different buttons or 2 buttons together will instantly change to that materia while in the menu without having to slowly move over to them. There's also a helper near your hud to remind you what inputs give what.

Firaga- Using this will boost your attacks dmg slightly along with igniting foes on every hit at the cost of 6MP a hit.
It also allows you to special cancel your normals and dash attack on hit. Just be careful as you will become slightly slower and lighter. *Pressing just Special quick selects this.*

Thundaga- Electrify your hits causing stun on your foes letting you make up new combos or extend old ones at the cost of 7MP.
You'll also gain increased speed and fall much faster, be careful using this one because it'll make recovering a real challenge. *Pressing just Shield quick selects this.*

Aeroa- You know Shulk? Well using this will give your attacks increased knockback for those sweet sweet kills, but instead of putting yourself at risk by making yourself easier to kill it'll cost you 7MP.
Now this is what you wanna use to recover. You gain increased jump height, a third jump and slower falling, but you also become much lighter. Can't recover if you're just dead. *Pressing just Jump quick selects this.*

Blizzaga- Put your foes on ice by hitting them on the ground, freezing them and setting up tech chases. It will run you 8MP a hit though and it won't do anything if they're airborne so keep that in mind.
You also gain some fun sliding luigi style, allowing you to do sliding smash attack and the such. *Pressing Special while holding Left or Right quick selects this.*

Bio- Poison your foes making them hurt themselves every time they try to hit you, along with buffing your dmg some all for the cost of 6MP.
Tired of dying early? Use bio here, it makes you far heavier, but just like any heavy you also fall a bit faster and run slower. *Pressing Special while holding Up quick selects this.*

None- No buffs here but using this will gain you MP on hit, along with a nice little auto fill. (don't worry about switching to this if you run out of MP cause it will automatically for you) *Pressing just taunt quick selects this.*

Now for her specials.

Neutral special is completely new, Tifa charges up a mighty punch then dashes forward. If she hits someone tehy'll be stunned while she unleashes a huge stock ending explosion. This move is the perfect way to end a combo or read your opponent into the blast zone.

Side special is Focus Strike. Tifa jumps backwards then lunges forward with a tackle. Sounds simple enough right? Well you can jump cancel out of it during her jump back and if you land a hit with it she'll jump back letting you combo off of it.

Aerial down special is Divekick. She comes flying down with a powered up kick, the move knocks up now along with Tifa herself letting you mix up your combos or starters.

Up special is Dolphinblow. An aquatic uppercut, this move has 2 unique abilities. Like Luigi's uppercut there's a strong hitbox close to her at the very start of the upper and if you land a hit with it you won't go into special fall so combo away! Just um..please don't turn her into smash 4 Bayo.
