Text field note cards

Description
A deck of writable note cards.

Just click on the card to edit its text. Works in your hand as well.


Update 2024-08-09: Rewrite and new functionality!
Finally got around to reading the comments :P

Rewritten from scratch! Basically no original code remains.
New features:

  • Font size can now be changed! use the "Font size +/-" options in the context menu.
  • Cards can now be locked! Use the "Lock/Unlock Text" options in the context menu.


Card assets are CC from Wikimedia. code is nicked from(not anymore :D) Inspiration came from the FATE Aspect Cards mod by Jinti ( https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1125034689 ).

@Dezzybird i don't know how you've managed to change the color of even the borders, as according to the docs Card objects can not be tinted. I was completely unable to get any card to change color. I put together a test thing yesterday that changes the color of the text field when you tint an object, but since the card itself doesn't change color when you tint it i don't really see the point.

hey so uh... i implemented all the requested changes :P I added right-click menu options for font size and lock/unlock text. hope that helps...

@Sean2111 and @SpringLeaf, i think there are other items on the workshop that do this. this is a very minimal save, it does basically nothing.

When I type some text ,
is there some way I can lock the text input ,until I do something again to unlock it?

Sort of to make a permanent card once I input the text?
Even if I cannot unlock text input again would be fine.
HOW do I do this?

This is exacly what i needed but the font size is so small : ( wish it already could change font size. i'm just too dum to figure how to code
