[CP] Second Coalition Factions

This mod is based upon an alternate timeline I created. The name of the timeline "Second Coalition" refers to the point of divergence, Napoleon being defeating during the War of the Second Coalition. In the 1810s the US went to war with Britain as in our history, however they felt the full force of the British Empire and lost all territory north of the Chesapeake.

For over a century there have been no shots fired, no bombs dropped, no battles fought on North American soil. The nations have experienced prosperity previously unimaginable, working together California, Texas, and the United Provinces have risen to the forefront of global culture and power. However war is returning to the American continent, with climate change putting stress on the wellbeing of their citizens old rivalries spring a new.
The defiant Federal States still aim to reclaim the land they fought for in their distant revolution, California and Texas - becoming ever more impacted by droughts - are making plans for the worst case scenario. With the United Provinces facing civil reckoning and unprecedented natural disasters they too are at a crossroads. The question is simple. Who will fire the first shot?


There are currently two basic factions, I'll be fleshing them out more in the coming weeks and adding California and Texas afterwards.

From the capital of Kingston, Ontario, the twenty-four provinces and six territories are governed by a parliament. The executive branch is led by the President, who is at an arms length away from Parliamentary matters. The preeminent global superpower, the UPC has spent decades fighting proxy wars against the Soviet Federation across the globe. Now with foreign deployments ending and a detente between the superpowers the forces of the United Provinces are returning home - it may prove fortuitous.

The Federal States of America are fiercely patriotic, every child is indoctrinated at an early age to prepare for the Second American Revolution. It will not be a war of liberation, but instead conquest. The Chiefs of Staff will lead America to its destiny, and the nation will span from sea to sea. Whether or not this is hubris remains debatable, but their resentment towards Texas and the United Provinces secured the Junta a close relationship with the Soviet Federation, and vital military equipment.
