This mod has now been rolled into Rise Of Cosmic Industry. This version will no longer receive updates.

Ever since the Industrial Revolution, this species has been obsessed with increasing automation in their factories. Achieving fully automatic factories, in operation and expansion, has allowed them to greatly reduce the labour required by their species, and catapult themselves to spacefaring before the expected population levels.

-Start with an Automatic Factory deposit on your homeworld, replacing a good chunk of your population. Or enable it for everyone.
-The Factory can expand on your orders, or automatically.
-You can build Factories on other planets you colonize.
-The Factory dispenses with the need for most Manual Labour jobs. Miners, Farmers, Technicians, Metallurgists, Artisans, and all the Rare Resource Jobs. It mostly replaces Droids.
-Due to this, starting pops are greatly reduced when using the Origin.
-The Factory requires the energy upkeep of the building/district it would be replacing, +2 for each job replaced. Except for the Generator Factory, it has no energy upkeep from the replaced jobs, as Mining Stations on Energy do not.
-The AI is forced to use Automation, my own Script-based feature available to players. With this, they should do decently.
-Any automatic Factory Expansion still requires the resources for it.

queenelise9830 23 Nov, 2021 @ 12:55pm
updated to 3.2 or nah?
James Fire  [author] 21 Sep, 2021 @ 9:52am
Maybe 40% is too much, but the reduction is intended.
Fallaner, the Writer Eternal 19 Sep, 2021 @ 9:44pm
Yes it's intended.

ALL job output is reduced by 40%. This includes researchers, and is intended.
MarcoMarco 19 Sep, 2021 @ 1:06pm
Oh, was wondering if you intended to have researchers make half the science with the civic active?

Well, for new ones. If you want to fix it for existing planets, you'll need to do one of the following

To just add the Autofab as if it was finished, select the planet, and use this in the console

effect add_autofab = yes

To start the construction process, select the planet, and do

effect start_autofab = yes

@leva.zakharov Should be fixed now.

@Guan Dao The error log does not log anything relevant to crashes. The game has crashed before it can be logged.

Hello! I have some issue: started game with both origin and civic, first autofactory works very well, when I tried build second one, autofactory didn't appear. All 5 new planets didn't get their autofactories.
Few days ago mod worked normally. I play with a lot of mods, but in 2-3 days only this was updated. How can I fix this?
