Introduction

Hello, there!

Tool Panel Colors brings a very useful little addition to the game: the ability to differentiate GMod tools from addons easily and highlight some of them.

If you have spent a lot of time looking for tools on the menu just because you have subscribed for several, you know how uncomfortable that is!

In the future I plan to add a tool menu reorganizer (move, rename, hide and add items) among other forms of customization.

Features

It works without any requirements;
Supports presets;
Supports singleplayer and multiplayer;
Lets you choose between the server colors and your colors;
Includes some nice themes;
Lets you create your own themes;
Has a nice and easy to use interface.

If you want support for some kind of customization that is related to "the tool panel", leave a comment, but keep in mind that I won't be working on it again for some time.

Btw sorry for gigantic delay, TangoDown, but ty for offering me some help and cool code. Anyway, I wouldn't go ahead with this idea because even in 2021 I already wanted to do other things, let alone now. But I'm sure there's an amazing concept lost in this workshop page.

I actually re-organize my tool menu and it is a huge pain in the arse So I'd be very interested if you can do this. I've tried figuring out how to overwrite categories outside the /garrysmod/gamemodes/sandbox/gamemode/cl_spawnmenu.lua because as soon as Gmod updates it overwrites default files.

Mind you I am no lua coder but I've tinkered with Gmod for a very long time. I also have some code I hired someone to write that hides the Q menu tabs depending on Rank (he did kind of a half-assed job) But if your interested I will share that with you, would be kind of cool to have a single addon that does all that together with your Color coding. Add me if your interested.
