Presenting the final skin in my very first collection, the AK-47 | Rising Tide!

After six months, 33 skins, and many late nights I have finally come to the conclusion of this collection, what an experience this has been :)

I remember when I first started I was very ambitious and enthusiastic, regardless of how little I knew. While I had over a decade of drawing experience, and many years of experience with photoshop as well, I had never actually done them together. Until my fifth skin I didn’t have a drawing tablet, and was literally sketching my skins on paper and mouse drawing them in photoshop, whatever it took.

My first skin took longer than any other in the collection, with me experimenting with colour palettes and trying to figure out how to edit the UV map competently. It was a learning experience, as has been this entire collection. The next three came together more easily, and I began to understand the medium and fine tune my technique. Upon release, I never would have predicted the level of support that ended up coming my way, so I decided to continue the collection to where it is today!

I want to thank the community for showing such support for my work, and want to extend a special thanks to all the incredibly talented and successful workshop contributors who have encouraged and helped me along the way. It has been a rough year, I think most of us can relate to that, and working on this collection along with the support and encouragement I have received has been a priceless experience, and more than made up for it.

So, with all this, I present to you the last sendoff to the Rising Tide collection. Everything I have learned along the way has culminated itself into this, the AK-47| Rising Tide. I have dedicated every spare hour of the last six months to working on this, so I hope you enjoyed this collection half as much as I enjoyed making it for you, because I had a blast ;)
