Description
This mod will no longer be updated. It still works with the game and is totally functional though. The content included here as well as new stuff is now found in my new Overhaul Mod.

Were you disappointed in the lack of foreign policy content in Democracy 4? Did you want the military to mean more than extra GDP and Technology? Don't think that the default version of the United States is very true to life? This is the mod to do it all

Compatibility: This mod should be compatible with all other D4 mods on the workshop. There are overrides included, but almost all are specific to the updated versions of the US and the UK. If you're having an issue with this mod interacting with another, try playing one of the default countries. Things will be kinda wonky since countries won't start in NATO/UN/have Nuclear Weapons, but it should remedy any compatibility issues.

What's Included?
  • 7 policies: Skilled Immigration Incentives, Nuclear Arsenal, UN Membership, NATO Membership, Immigration Enforcement Force, Secret Service, Arms Exports, and Elderly Internet Education.
  • 2 events: Vatican Condemnation and Global Leader Summit.
  • 1 dilemma: Defend NATO Ally
  • 3 simulation variables: Global Influence, Military Strength, Estimated Foreign Threat
  • 2 situations: Global Superpower, Immigration Protests
  • Updated US & UK Scenarios
  • Lots of balance changes and overrides (Most only applicable in revamped versions of countries)

This mod includes two new scenarios to take full use of everything that has been added. However, it is perfectly playable as a vanilla+ experience as well if you so desire. Just choose the regular version of the US or UK rather than the new version :)

Hello Witchy, I have found that many of the foreign policy policies I enact from this mod are either auto-repealed or reduced randomly, is that a bug or a feature?

Could someone make a mod that when you have a surplus and pay of country debt, you can start investing in a variety of different things that gives you certain benefits. For example you could invest in other countries and they pay you interest over time or buy mercs so you don't need to spend money on your own military or anything you can think of. I feel their is little benefit for getting your country out of debt and I would like to see benefits for doing so! :steamhappy:

What is the name in files, for "Immigration Protests?" I would like to make a policy that directly impacts it, please!

Hey all, with the recent changes to immigration in the newest patch I'll soon be taking a look at what changes need to be made! Also stay tuned for some new content coming soon. Thank you for your patience thus far

@feelinWitchy , does your stability not already have a huge overlap with GDP though? It is hard to have a high (relative) GDP without being (relatively) stable. I do get it though, immigrants and refugees in specific would want to move to stable countries over non-stable countries.

@Eldanos right now it's a bit of an over simplification. I eventually want to add a "Global Stability" value that will increase or decrease immigration in regards to your relative stability compared to the rest of the world's.

thanks

I really like this mod. Just wondering why global influence leads to more immigration? Seems kind of like a non-sequitur to me.

@Gonzotherobot

It should be coming out at some point in mid-December. Life has been full of a bunch of crazy stuff, so it's been tough to find time to make anything! The lack of slider support is limiting me a bit also, as it's pretty essential for the war stuff I want to add.
