UP TO DATE WITH APRIL 2021 "NOTHING" PATCH!

COMPATIBLE WITH VANILLA, RISE & FALL AND GATHERING STORM !

WORKS IN MULTIPLAYER.

REQUIRES BETTER REPORT SCREEN TO SHOW EFFECTS INFORMATION !!!


This mod extends the Policy Cards to display all the relevant effects of selecting each. The information will only be displayed if Better Report Screen (by Infixo) is enabled. If BRS is disabled or not subscribed, the Government Screen will behave like in the default game without issues.

This mod is perfect for players that want the original look of the Policy Cards, combined with the excellent data presentation of Better Report Screen, without having to access the report screen itself.

In my opinion, Better Report Screen is a must, so this plays well on top of it for the specific purpose of Policy Selection. Check BRS at:

Initial release Version 1.0:
+ If the current effects of selecting a Policy Card can be calculated by BRS, the data will be added at the bottom of the description tooltip for the card.
+ The effects data will also be added to a new label at the bottom of the card with the same format as the card's title (for better visibility).
+ The new label also has a tootlip with the effects as a fallback for longer effects lists that would not fit the width of the card.

Mod hadn't been working, but after adding BRS per @zorasaphire suggestion, EPC is working again for my single player. Thanks!

When people are reporting it does not work for them, can you give some description what they notice that tells them it is not working? I use the mod with no apparent problems, What am I missing? Are the problems being experienced bad inaccurate information, or is the mod failiong in some other manner? Thanks...Evarach, where are you?

Hi. I don't know I it was reported already, but the mod seems to not recognize the Medina Quarter policy card properly when you play as Maya. In one game I had Medina Quarter slotted in and a lot of districts finished and it was not showing any housing gained on the card. But when I slotted the card in and refreshed production in a city - the housing was indeed effected by the policy change. Still - no effect visible on the policy card.

As I mentioned - I was playing Maya and they have some special rules regarding housing, so maybe the mod gets confused because that? IMO its worth looking into.

If you're having trouble with this mod, here are some suggestions. First, you definitely need the Better Report Screen (BRS). Initially, I had issues even with that. I later realized that Better Balanced Game (BBG) is supported by BRS, so I installed it too. I also tried using quick deals without success at first. Once I got BBG, it started working, but not immediately. I verified game files and started a single-player game, which didn't work at first. Switching to multiplayer did the trick! After that, I returned to single-player, and it worked again. The next day, my single-player game failed to load, but toggling between multiplayer and single-player helped. So far, I believe this is the only method that consistently works for me. I hope this helps you. If so, feel free to share this info. Also, for those insisting people aren't reading, consider they might be facing real issues. Try to be kind. I love you! Bye!
