Design and Mk.1
With the technology gap between the RCN and the Xsotan all but eliminated, the command put out a contract for the designing of an electronic warfare vessel. Three subcontractors put in their bids and of those, two were put into trials against the other. The winning design receiving the full contract of 10 new cruiser sized warships specializing in EW and counter EW. The Design of Duke was chosen in 3770C.E. and completed in 3771C.E.

Along with the standard array of weapons these new ships are equipped with advanced sensors, scanners, and jammers. This allows the Duke class to hack, jam, intercept, or disrupt everything from radars and communications arrays up to weapon or missile targeting systems. The class is also equipped with one of the most powerful BlinkDrives in the fleet.

All these traits makes the class an excellent reconnaissance ship, where the advanced sensors can collect valuable data while staying out of detection range of even planetary based early warning systems or disrupting their subspace scanners to mask the arrival from an allied fleet.

Any chance at getting the Turrets BP's that you used on this marked down as a requirement for this? love the main design and just wanting to add a few more hardpoints for for coverage.
