***READ DESCRIPTION***

This Route includes the (payware) BNSF Racetrack Chicago-Aurora. I have added: EJ&E Track from Plainfield to West Chicago, Union Pacific-West track from Ogilvie Station to West Chicago. UP-N and UP-NW track leading out of Ogilvie. Some IHB and BRC connecting tracks.

THIS IS BY NO MEANS A FINISHED ROUTE. THIS IS MEANT TO BE A REPRESENTATION OF THE CHICAGO AREA. IT SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN AS 100% ACCURATE.

Ogilvie Station is still a mess. There is little or no scenery or signals even placed on the new tracks. I plan to (eventually) have all Metra trackage, as well as a section of the UP-Belvidere Sub leading out to the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, Illinois. I Also plan to extend the three BNSF lines coming out of Montgomery to Bristol, Sugar Grove, and Yorkville, respectively. Connecting trackage such as the EJ&E, IHB, and BRC will also be added. I want to do all of the trackage first before any scenery, comment your opinions.

Quick drives still need testing, comment if they worked or not, right now they're just there for the sake of a scenario.

You might need additional DLC to run the free roams. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS DLC, HIT F2, THEN CANCEL UPON LOADING.

There is also one connection that used to be present or is not present anymore. I added a spur in West Chicago to connect the BN West Chicago branch with the EJ&E (CN) and UP.

DLC Required:
The Racetrack: Aurora-Chicago THE ROUTE WILL NOT RUN WITHOUT THIS
Sherman Hill (For all UP Tracks)
Marias Pass (small amount of scenery)
Sacramento Northern (small amount of scenery, possibly some track)

Planned Expansion:

Phase 1: All track is placed, no scenery or signals, small markers for reference.
Phase 2: Add all markers (sidings, stations, etc), start on scenery.
Phase 3: Complete scenery, add signals and simple scenarios.
Phase 4: All track, scenery, signals, and markers are in place and functioning. Quick Drives and Free roams are made for each branch. Some standard scenarios for each branch are up.
Phase 5: Marked as final, and permanently on the Steam Workshop.

Wow. If you could be able to finish this this would be amazing. I live near Metra's Union Pacific West Line's terminus in Elburn and would love to see this to completion. Also heads up to anybody who is from the Chicagoland area

@Kellanium I am also working on a backdate of the Chicago Racetrack, from 1970-1995. It's better than this in terms of scenery and layout, too. From fellow auroran to auroran, hope you like it!
