Board: Self-made.

Rule guide:

Each player controls 8 distinct animals. The goal of the game is to either:
1. Occupy the opponent's den with any animal piece, which is surrounded by 3 traps;
2. Eliminate all enemy pieces.

The forest terrain, wooden bridge, and the stone pathways across the river are all considered land spaces. They are only visually different for esthetic purposes. The other two areas, which are marked with the blue grid, are water spaces.

Players alternate moves with blue move first (or whoever wants to go first).
Each turn, a player moves an animal piece by one space (horizontal or vertical, no diagnal moves).
- Animals may not enter the water spaces.
- Animals may not enter their own den.
- If an animal lands on an oponent's piece of a lower power rank, the opponent's piece is eliminated.
- If an animal lands on an oponent's piece of the same power rank, both pieces are eliminated.
- Animals cannot land on another piece of the same color or of a higher power rank.
- When an animal is in a trap space, it is considered to have a power rank of 0, that is, it may be eliminated by any enemy piece.

Exceptions:
Rats may enter the water spaces.
Rats can eliminate elephants.
Rats cannot eliminate enemy elephant/rat when exiting water.
Lion and tiger may jump across the river (horizontally or vertically), unless there is a rat in the water which is in the direct line of movement.

Power Ranks:
Elephant 8
Lion 7
Tiger 6
Leopard 5
Wolf 4
Dog 3
Cat 2
Rat 1

Some Common Rule Variants:
- Dogs are ranked higher than wolves.
- Lions and tigers have the same power rank, thus can eliminate each other.
- Elephants cannot eliminate rats.
- Lions can jump across two water areas at once, while tigers can only jump across one.
- Leopards can jump across rivers as well, but only horizontally.
- Dogs can also enter the water spaces.
- Rats can eliminate enemy elephant/rat when exiting water.
