Description
Adds the Tiwanaku Civilization to Brave New World, with Huyustus as its Leader!. This mod features Custom Leader Music.
- Fixed the crash that sometimes happened when acquiring a city (CS also should no longer lose their CS status, they can be liberated from Tiwanaku)
- Fixed a bug with the Free Shrines attribute
- Added some flavour: Cities acquired on Plains now end in "Pampa", acquired on Desert "Tambo", acquired on Grass "Collo" and on hills or other terrains "Marka"
- City-states with more than one word (like "La Venta") will just use the longest word as a base (Turning in "Ventamarka" instead of "La Ventamarka")

Tiwanaku Civilization[/size]
  • Leader:
    Huyustus
  • UA: Chakana Theocracy: Upon the discovery of Pottery, receive a free Shrine on your first four cities. Until the World Congress is founded, allied City-States that have been following your religion may eventually join the empire..
  • UU: Sisqeno: Replacement for the Missionary. The Sisqeno may perform a Challa Ritual on Chatallatas and Great Person Tile Improvements, increasing its yields by 2 (on Chatallatas, +1 of each yield).
  • UI: Chatallata: Unlocked at the discovery of Construction, may only be built on flatlands without grass. The Chatallata yields +1 Science and +2 Faith when built next to a city and +1 of each yield when built next to a mountain. After the discovery of Astronomy, +1 of each yield even when far from cities or mountains. Destroyed when pillaged.

Note about the UA. For acquiring the City-States you must have it as an ally following your religion (as a majority religion) for 12 turns (Quick), 20 turns (Standard), 30 turns (Epic), 40 turns (Marathon).

Also, please note Missionary replacements are still not perfect. So when buying it will still say "Missionary", but after bought its transformed with the Sisqeno, so no worries there.

Special thanks to Tomatekh and LastSword for their help with the UA, and to Whoward for its UI tutorial. Also, thanks to DIOM for helping me with testing.

Are we going to see the Wari empire as a playable civilization anytime soon? Probably one of the most overlooked civs out there

I would really love for this to be updated with new mod support and bug fixes. Tiwanaku has always been a civilization that interested me.

Leugi hasn't done any work since 2014.

I still don't think this is fixed. My files are dated Jan or July 2015, and marked (v1). I don't think there's a newer version.

Assiilating a CS still causes the game to crash. Also, free shrines added by UA do not get the upgrade +1 faith from Organized Religion. Is this mod still getting updates?

Unfortunately, the Chatallata's inflexibility significantly limits it's usefulness :( Most mountains tend to be surrounded by things which are not plains, desert or tundra so it's very rare that we can actually make it worthwhile.

I have one issue. I allied with Milan and made them have my religion. When it gave me the oppertunity to integrate the city, my game crashed. Other than that great civ.

I loved this one. Very unique, and quite fun to play as. The UU and UI are both really original, and work quite well. I did think it was a little weird though that the UI could only be built on flatland tiles, considering that the Tiwanaku were an Andean civ. The UA was pretty nice, although I only ever got use out of half of it. No city-states joined my empire, even though there were several that had been both allied with me and following my religion for a while before the world congress was founded. It seems like there should be a guarantee of at least the first city-state that satisfies both conditions automatically joining your empire, because it doesn't feel like I quite got adequate value out of the UA. Overall though, wonderful civ.

I'm running into an issue where I can't purchase missionaries. If I finish Bourbodor it properly gives me 3, but I can't actually buy them because they don't appear on the city screen. I can still buy Inquisitors, but no missionaries. If you have any ideas I would appreciate your time!
