InsurgentOps IV  is the sequel to the mission SniperOps. Following the success of the Overwatch Team clearing the path for Hitman Mechanized to roll through and assault the town. You, CTRG Hitman Sqd are tasked with clearing out the remaining Insurgents held up in Zaros. 
 
After the successful SniperOps mission hours before, Hitman Mechanized units have taken care of most of the Patrols around town, but the enemy has hunkered down garrisoning buildings and factories. Expect a CQB environment while you raid and clear out the town. Intel suggests there is a possibility the Insurgents have captured a hostage, in which case a high ranking Officer is most likely to also be present. 
 
Dynamic and randomly generated CQB environment in the little town of Zaros. Showcasing the incredibly powerful Drongo's Map Population engine at the core, but on a very small scale compared to the large AOs of GroundOps. Please allow 20 seconds at mission start for everything to populate and load in. Watch the Hurons deliver your supplies while everything loads in and assigns.

Support Available to players : 
  • v/Arsenal container Sling Load drop off via CH-64 Huron at mission start (see gallery pic above)
  • Hunter GMG Sling Load drop off via CH-64 Huron at mission start should you need it
  • Decked out Overwatch Sniper position from previous SniperOps mission with UAV Live Feed displayed on Laptop
  • Admin Menu built into DCE; must be #adminLogged
  • Live Feed thermal optic UAV scoping the town on 400m loiter, also useful for marking out targets with DCE markers 
  • Zeus for #adminLogged, you cannot control any DMP mission assets, but it's there if you want to cause some chaos. 
InsurgentOps IV  sees three CTRG Fire Teams being Airlifted to a makeshift LZ in Zaros. You are tasked with clearing out the remaining Insurgents that have dug in the town of Zaros. Enemies will be patrolling the streets, held up garrisoning buildings and taking up various rooftop positions. 
 
There is a chance you may be tasked with rescuing somebody. 
There is a chance a HVT will be present in the town, which will need sorting out.  
Using DMP's Infoshare, there is a 3% chance that mission will spawn enemies with VERY aggressive information sharing. Making them absolute hunter squads, which are coming your way fast!  
 
Designed for Local hosting SP or COOP, runs very light with up to 50 odd enemies spawning in a localized area. I get 70-90fps in local testing. Obviously runs like a dream on dedicated servers with mates.  
 
The other Drongo's Mods required are to showcase the immersion that mods like DCE, DAO, DRA and DEI inject into ARMA 3.  

How To Launch Mission Solo or LAN :
  • Go to Multiplayer
  • Server browser
  • Host Server
  • Type in server name, # of players, password
  • Choose map on left (Altis in this case) and the mission on right.

Ah the save thing, I assume I must've accidentally un-ticked "allow manual save".
Bit much as in too many enemies when solo? Or is the Helo intro thing too much (annoying)?

The UAV tablet is just a prop, I must've forgot to turn it into a Simple Object haha.
But yeh cheers man, I have quite a few DMP made missions too, Ground and Air ops. Bit more large scale for dedicated servers.

Appreciate the notes mate, I'll do a mission update tomorrow and sort those out :steamthumbsup:

I noticed If a played by my self in a hosted server with missions I, II, and III i could save and reload. I cannot do this with mission IV. Is there a specific reason?
I really like the intro with the helos but trying to play solo it is a bit much.

Other side note in mission I there was a NATO UAV controller sitting around. It was the only mission were one could be acquired without arsenal.

Other than the above notes all 4 are amazing missions. I have been using Drongos DMP for a while now. You have a different style than I do but I really love these missions.
