After nearly 3.5 years, I'm back to once again ask; what happened to the original? Like, does anyone know?

I only ask because there are so many things missing from this map that the previous one had. Destructible walls, vents that let you sneak to other portions of the map, etc. If this is v1, what happened to the other version?
