Just an FYI: Although this mod makes missions where you have a base easier, it makes those without a base much more difficult because the exploding tiberium fields will cut off the path forward for your infantry in many cases. There's also at least one mission where you need to protect civilians from Nod and an encroaching tiberium field - this one can become pretty much unwinnable with this mod enabled. Not saying that this mod should be avoided (it's certainly fun to use :-) ), but it should be handled with care.

this makes the game a bit too easy, but it really captures the idea of tiberium over running the world. Without enough harvesters tiberium over runs your base and kills all your people.
