fester_21 Just now
this helped alot, i was getting lags every few seconds, so i installed this, checked my map componet tick, most of them were normal, highest being 58.3us in av calls per tick, but then i saw it, "Bees" mod hit 700+us. removed "bees" and my TPS was back to normal, no more lag, this was a great help in finding where the performance loss is

Size on disk doesn't directly mean ram usage ether so that second point isnt whole correct
Texture mods when png use less hdd space
But alot more ram
Thats why we convert them to dds
So they use more hdd space
And less ram

@NoOne_ReaVen Unfortunately The best option for you is to remove unneeded mods, especially those which have hundrends of mb. I can't imagine how someone can use 700+ mods and still be able to play...

could this help me out with memory leaks, well supposedly Im running 700+ Mods most are local copys (with a few exceptions, this one included) that wont work outside of their Workshop folder. Well my Rimworld takes about 10 to 15 minutes to load into the main menu (if it dosent crash) then it spikes to up to 15gb of ram usage, when I start a world everything seems to run, I play for about 2 hours and then it chugs to a hold with 30gb+ of Ram in demand, when I save and close the game and reload, it stays at about 20gb until I try to load the save then it jumps through lunacy from 8gb up to 35gb and back down to 258mb, yes the save loads after about 10 to 15 minutes but heck, debugging this mess is a exercise in patients, I allready managed to get a stable 30FPS and 45TPS with this mess so I call that a small sucess

Thank you! This mod saved me! There was a muffalo on the map (probably the one with a damaged neck) that was using on average 5.86ms per tick... drove me crazy not being able to get past 180tps for no apparent reason.

no theres a basic guide on the discord pins but in depth will basically require you look at how others read it and then learn from them
theres been talk of making an improved guide but
lots of typing
no time

Is there a guide anywhere on how to use this?

Excuse me, where can I see a list of mods that heavily load RimWorld?
