"When resources are tight and your people are hungry, what are ya gonna do? Why, feed 'em some air, of course!"

Wait, what? This is really close to an actual mod? Yep! Finally, something that modifies the game in some meaningful way!

This mod adds in a new food item, known as the air ration. As idiotic as the idea is, this ration restores some, albeit very little, hunger and thirst. The idea: a food item with 0 value, that you can create really quickly, and that is consumes the exact same amount of time to eat as a much better, still pretty easy to make food. It's a trade-off between a Spatial's time spent managing vitals and the station's resources spent doing the same. Maybe someone can actually make use of it? It is recommended that this food is kept away from tourists, as it's value of 0 is unlikely to net you much profit while they fill up on it.

This is hopefully the last "experimental more than anything else" mod I will make for a while. Hopefully I can get some actual additions or worthwhile changes going on pretty soon. Once again, I would like to thank the Dev (Devs?) for all their help while I've struggled through the minutiae of making mods work with this wonderful game. I'm working on a new guide for all those interested in adding content of their own, but feel free to rip apart my code to figure it out yourself in the meantime. Just please, learn from my experience, and don't repeat my mistakes when told how to not. :)

I've also theorized that this mod completely breaks the leveling up of scientists/chefs due to how quickly they can make a single recipe that give the exact same experience as any other recipe. In testing, I usually made around thirty rations per game, and almost always ended up with at least one Spatial ready to become a scientist in a game that I had played for less than five minutes. I guess be warned that this may obliterate game balance in more ways than one. :/
