Also, that's interesting about phase 2 of that boss. I think I never tried to take on this one clever way, and was jumping randomly trying to avoid all of the spikeballs. I'll have to look into this one. Thanks for heads up.
Anyway, I totally would have missed that safespot without achievement guide.. Actually I missed it based on only reading the guide but noticed my mistake when I took a close look on this screenshot. And talking about safespots, the one I'm using during 2nd phase of this boss is completely on the right side (it isn't only safespot during 2nd phase but easiest to remember), this way I can jump only during bottom spikeballs just like in 3rd phase of the boss.
