My journey with Steam began with Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stone, and it quickly grew from there. Since the fall of 2013, my Steam library has expanded with even more games, and my overall use of the platform has increased significantly.

I enjoy a mix of genres, including JRPGs, platformers, action games, and strategy titles, but I'm also a fan of visual novels. While my passion for MMORPGs has waned over time, they still hold a place in my gaming history.

I’m open to trying any game that piques my interest, even if it’s in a genre I’m not usually drawn to. Take Rabi-Ribi, for example — it blends metroidvania gameplay with bullet-hell inspired boss battles in a way that completely won me over, despite never being a fan of the bullet-hell genre. It’s a perfect example of how combining different elements can create a unique and enjoyable experience.

Some of my favorite games include Ender Lilies, Dead or School, Hyperdimension Neptunia, The Trails series (The Legend of Heroes), Ori series (Blind Forest / Will of the Wisps), Rabi-Ribi, TEVI, Tales of Berseria, Tokyo Xanadu eX+, and Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. These games have provided memorable experiences and introduced me to hidden gems and unexpected favorites along the way.

As for visual novels, I’m a sucker for romance stories — preferably ones with a male MC and a charming cast of cute female characters, but I’m also down for a good story with intriguing characters.

I have a soft spot for characters with animal traits like ears or tails, so it’s no surprise that NEKOPARA is among my favorites. It features a charming cast of cat girls, and I can’t get enough of them.

Some visual novels surprise me with their intriguing stories and unique characters. Sabbat of the Witch became one of my favorite visual novels, with Nene’s route being especially impressive and emotional.

There are also games like the Utawarerumono series, such as Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen, which blend visual novel elements with gameplay. It has long, story-driven cutscenes, but it also mixes in turn-based strategy elements, character progression, and item customization.
