Azure Chorus

Description
The Azure Chorus is an antique Jian that has seen many battles. However, despite the obvious wear on the rest of the weapon, the unique sapphiric steel blade remains flawless.

To be honest, this is probably my favorite Jian that I've come across. The texture and particle effects are quite nice. The only thing that's missing is a sheath. Thanks for putting the work into this.

Glad to get some constructive feedback. I agree on the maps, but that is the hardest part for me... I'm sick of that for now, and I'll come back when I have some fresh inspiration. As for the points, again I agree it gets a bit blocky in places, but it was a heck of a struggle to get it to the point it is at. I need more practice with 3dsmax, but I'll come back to this one.

Interesting sword design, texture could use some nice normal, specular and exponent maps.
Also some of the tips and points need a little polish. Good job so far, but I think you could improve this one. Your first sword I liked more.
