Description
This mod is now part of my unit pack! You should be able to disable this mod and enable the pack if you want to, which should not break your save files. You cannot use both at the same time.

When the Sundering tore the lands of Nagarythe apart, it left its mark on every being that lived there. The phoenixes from the mountains bordering it were particularly affected, as they are magical creatures themselves. A number of them were turned into a shadow of their former selves. They may be called upon to fight by the wielder of the Stone of Midnight. No longer fully tied to the mortal realm, they partially exist in the Shadow Realm.

Role: ethereal melee monster
Strengths: strong defensive unit
Weaknesses: magic damage, low HP because of the ethereal physical resist
Abilities and attributes: Vanguard Deployment, Causes Fear, Causes Terror, Aura of Protection (+12% ward save with 40m range), 63% physical resist (75% total resist with the aforementioned 12% ward save)

Weapon strength: 150 normal and 250 AP damage

This unit benefits from all the standard Phoenix lord buffs and technologies.
It can be recruited from the tier 4 and 5 temples of Asuryan.

I've stopped updating these small unit mods of mine. The unit pack will have them and will stay updated.

Still hoping for those Shadow wolves! Still partially lore surrounded by your creatives style would make it fun!

I'm more looking at the theme of Nagarythe and making unique units. I don't think they're all lore friendly, though. You'd have to ask someone who knows more of the role, I make stuff up as I go along :D

@ArmageddonAsh I think I'm keeping the current look. I'm not much of a fan of the brightly glowing units. I tested some brighter versions and I just don't like the look of it.

Daamn, son! From the Shadow Guard to here you are proving that you ought to be called The Shadow King! Thank you for all of your mods, man. I love diversity in this game and you are doing a bang up job making Nagarythe different and amazing from all of the other High Elf Factions. :steamhappy:
