Suggestions: Make metapis workers better with a perk or new building. Improve regular beeboxes or make metapis beeboxes so that we have better space management. Add perks that help with winter honey economy (not too important if not added tho).
Alternatively, maybe a child hive that upgrades them to get more pollen or reduce honey costs by a third.
The biggest problem I have is actually to do with regular beeboxes and the space needed for more than 3. I want to have more honey producing so I can actually have a surplus for myself but having 5 beeboxes next to my base for the upkeep of a level 3 hive and all the childhives is insane (30 honey per day). Especially in early spring when the days are really short and they don't even make 4 honey per box. Some suggestions are to maybe make a new building or a Wuzzy item to upgrade beeboxes or have an insight perk that makes regular bees better
Fighting the Bee Queen isn't as simple as putting the mother hive next to the BQ and building 2 child hives next to her to tank the bumblebees infinitely. I tried fighting her the first time in winter with the moonguard and the shadow hives and stalled out on phase 2 because I had no honey to regen the bees.
Winter is tough without farming honey for a couple days before the beeboxes stop working.
Or you can just let them reduce to base number.
