Toton Yard

Description
Toton Yard is one of the largest still extant marshalling yards on Britain's railway network, situated between Derby and Nottingham on the Erewash Valley line.This representation of the yard is based in the immediate post-privatisation period of the late-1990s-early 2000s and includes the locomotive maintenance depot, up and down sorting sidings, ballast stockpiles and wagon repair workshops.

hi when i go and create a free roam scenerio i get placed no where nere the yard so i can only look at it from quick drive. plase help as i want to do some shunting

This is a very good rendition of Toton, no hump unfortunately, I suppose that is a bit difficult to put in, but, you've got the famous bank and the maintenance depot with the fuel tanks are about spot on, you are missing a few buildings which we can put in ourselves, however, there's plenty of track to keep us busy shunting, incoming trains can utilise the large sidings in situ and the light engine movements on and off shed will keep us busy for ages, it's a brilliant little layout. Well done and thank you very much.

Brilliant. I do not have Doncaster Works, so I guess I am missing out on lots of buildings and the like. The idea of shunting appeals to me. No nasty customers. Next time Steam have a sale Doncaster Works is a must.
