Description

Acid Tears:
Counter-Strike was born from Half-Life. And to me - one of the most iconic characters was the S.A.S unit member. Since we could see him in every version of Half-Life and Counter-Strike.
That is why this design was based on the Half-Life atmosphere, and by including this character I wanted to bring some nostalgic feelings to every player's experience.
We’ve decided to adapt this idea to the Nuke map and use the reactors as a background environment. It's turned into a toxic wasteland with a mutated S.A.S. person, shown with toxic smoke coming out of his eyes.
The story of design clearly shows that the terrorists blew up the reactors. We picked a custom paint style and interpreted it into a graffiti, representing the toxicity and the grittiness.
