Bandits Protect (Create your own army)

Description
Everybody loves Error Code 0xFFFFFF! (If you don't know what I am talking about, you should visit the Deadlands more often.)
For all those who recruit mercenaries and skeletons to do their job or if you simply wished to lead your own bandit gang, this is a mod for you.

Recruitable Characters:
Hungry Bandits/Hungry Bandit Leaders
Starving Vagrants
Lost Drones
Holy Nation Outlaws

Features:
0) Recruit them with treats or by force!
1) They can bodyguard you.
2) They can guard your base.
3) You can order them to loot downed enemies.
4) You can order them to attack everything in sight. (Enemy and neutral)
5) After joining you they won't ask you or others for anything.
6) They will get stronger through fighting and you can change their equipment by picking them up and accessing their inventory.
7) If you give them a medkit they will heal you and their allies.
8) If you give them bolts they will use equipped crossbows.
9) You don't need to feed them like your own characters.
10) New dialogue.
11) They will distract BEAK THINGS for you! BEAK THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To do;
1) More dialogue
2) Make more bandit factions recruitable./Add a new "player" bandit faction into the game.
3) I want to make them use stuff around the base. If you have any idea, please tell me. The AI package for using mines and farms does not work on player buildings for now.

Attention:
They are still members of their faction. Therefore they will still attack some NPCs (Hungry Bandits will attack Holy Nation Outlaws for example) and they won't attack other members of their faction.
Try to leave the bandits at home, when you are visiting a city. Guards will recognize them as such if they attack someone and this will trigger uncontrollable slaughter. Unless you want exactly that of course.
They will despawn if you are in a different zone than them. In order to prevent that, get a character that stays at your outpost when you want your bandits to guard it. (Get a skeleton and set it on sneak in a corner of a building. Nobody will notice it and nobody despawns.) If you save the game, make sure that you have all your recruited squads in the current zone in which you are. Otherwise they will be gone if you load that save.
Vagrants will still try to attack you, so you have to be fast to be able to talk to them. If you have manged to get them but some are attacking you, you can stop them by ordering them to protect you. They won't be able to hurt you, but you can still damage them.

Tips:
Pick them up and give a few of them a medkit as soon as possible. It will increase their survivabilty a lot.
If you pick them up, they won't care that you are stealing all their stuff. You can change their gear too when they are unconscious, but they will attack you if they wake up while being robbed. This will lock them in an infinite loop of hitting you while not doing any damage.
The leader will change as soon as he is incapable of conversation. (dead, getting picked up, etc.) A different bandit will become the new squad leader. Since I have given the dialogue for ordering stuff to the leader, you will need to find him/her to give orders. (Just hover the mouse over them and you will see the speech bubble pop up over the new leader.) Usually the leader is the green dot on the map.

Since this is my first mod, I am already sorry for all ocurring bugs.

If you want more, you can support me by searching for spelling mistakes, by testing the new mechanics and reporting mistakes and by giving me a like.
Have fun with your new army!

I didn’t like that everyone was attacking them, ruining my reputation. It seems that this is the point of the mod, after all, these are bandits. There is a beginning in the game where everyone hates you. This mod is quite compatible with such a beginning.

Oh nevermind I'm an idiot, I was being attacked by dust bandits when your list clearly states who is on my side

Who attacks you? When do they attack you? After you recruited them? What did you do before they attacked you?

They still attack me, did I do something wrong? I started a new game to be safe and they still attack

Sure, I actually implemented some more bandits but I never got to polish them up.

Can I tweak the mod and make it also doable for lest say Tech hunters ?

The recruit anyone mod is exactly like recruitable prisoners but without all the hassle. With recruit anyone you can put them in a cage and you have three options either they join you right away without any dialoge or they join you but you can customize their appearance and the last option is to increase the relations with the prisoners faction. I haven't had the time to test the mods and the different loading orders but i will when i have the time.

Thank you for the heads up sir! Does recruit anyone add them to your squad like Recruitable Prisoners or does it make them your allies like my mod? I‘ve only ran Recruitable Prisoners with it until now and not experienced any issues.
