The Northwind Island - Preparation

Description
General! You have been assigned a task to liberate the Northwind Island from the infected. The island has been the source of plagues for the nearby settlements for far too long. In preparation for the mission, secure a good back protection and support by forming a colony south of the Island.

Depends what do you mean by too difficult. It is deffinitely beatable and except for the early game, where your resources are inferior, it isn't really that difficult. If you managed to beat survival mode on hard, you should be able to beat this mission as well.
