Better Occupation Visibility is included in ACG => if you use ACG then you do not need to use this mod

About this mod

Did you ever forget about conquering an enemy planet after you conquered an enemy system? Well i hope no more. This mod simply puts a flag into the flag icon in order to better show that an enemy system is fully - i.e. all planets + starbase - conquered (in addition to the "cross" around the icon which is vanilla style).

Hence if you conquered an enemy starbase but you don't see the cross WITH the flag inside the icon on the galaxy map of this conquered system => you will know this system is not yet fully occupied and there is still at least one planet you have to conquer.

This is a light weight mod. Compatible with every other mod that doesn't touch this file:

gfx/interface/system/map_gui_frame_occupied.dds

So basically you should just be fine because i am not aware of any mod that adjusts this file. And just before you ask: all the current icon mods for recoloring should also be fine - i have not seen any of those mods adjusting the file mentioned above.

Final Note

I started modding stellaris a very long time ago, but only for personal use. Now i thought it's time to give back to the community by releasing some mods i like to play with. I will never ask for any donation for myself, but if you want to support the modding community i ask you to support other stellaris modders who you really like.

i am not updating my mods currently because i am taking a summer/family break (see ACG mod announcement or ACG discord server). i will include an update for this into ACG once i am back in autumn. if you want to get an updated file early then feel free to contact me via discord. i can send you the new updated dds file early on and i can tell you how to use it if you want

FYI. Somewhere along the way, Paradox has changed the dimensions of map_gui_frame_occupied.dds to 50x56, so the 40x40 icon in this mod is now showing off-center. Ajey, is there any chance you could make a quick update to the mod accordingly?

yes i think this mod will always work. it only modifies i.e. replaces one graphical file of Stellaris that has not been changed since 2020.

mhh good question. frankly i don't know. that said right now i am busy with working on my main mod (ACG). so i don't have time to investigate if this would be possible or not. maybe there will be another modder who wants to take a look at your suggestion :)

Would it be possible to have an indicator on planets that need to be taken for a war goal? I spend so much time going in and out of the war screen and mousing over the achieve victory button to see what three next systems it'll tell me I need to take, and then trying to find those systems.
