Grenadier a Cheval Sabre

Description
Final version, with scabbard and slighty better texture.

This sword was used by the French Heavy Cavalry regiment of the Grenadier a Cheval. This elite unit performed great charges at Marengo, Austerlitz and Eylau.

in french the real name is "Sabre de grenadier à cheval"

There are 2 extra foil skins other then the basic one in the game. So the Steam workshop needs to fill out some foil swords for us foil pro's.

@Doctor Faustus: That is not really correct. Sabres for sure []can stab[/url] and it's part of the style. It should be also point that foils in this game don't act (nor look like) foils, but rapiers, which are closer to sabres. Ideally they should be another type of weapon, but yeah.

There is also a certain lack of foils in this game. I would really like to upgrade this one (the uv is quite bad and it needs a wayy better normal map especially for the handle), but I don't have time. If anyone wants to pick it up, contact me and I will send the files.

why is this a foil it's a cavalry saber they're clearly more like scimitars than foils it's even curved

Hi again just some feedback. Your uv mapping could benefit from being less stretched and your uv's could use some border/edge padding. Also look at current swords to see how normal, specular and exponent maps can improve the look of the sword.
