Description
It can be hard to fully understand the true reality of life on the frontier when you first travel to the distant cities of the Skuldos peoples. From their curious towers and shimmering rooftops to the warm hearths and friendly people, its easy to forget just how harsh life out there can be...

A tier 2 template pack designed with the Northern Alliance in mind.

ACE COMPATIBILITY:

These templates were designed without any mods installed using the base engine.

Some of these templates are not compatible with the ACE mod and will hang during building. If any of these buildings do not build for you with ACE installed please do the following:
- Turn on automatic crafting in your settings menu
- Place the template and tell it to build.
- PAUSE THE GAME
- Check and see which objects are NOT showing up in your crafter's menu.
- Delete the template before it can be fully built.
- Delete any items which your crafter isn't automatically adding to their queue and replace them with the ACE versions

Follow this list for any mods that are causing for these templates to hang.


SOME NOTES FROM PLAYTESTING:

Some of these structures will build -REALLY- creatively. This is not intended but the builder likes to have it's moments. Stick with them, they should complete and you'll be happy they did.

Any hangs may be caused by your crafting queue. Check which items you need and if required make double.

i think that there is a small problem: how you suppose to place pasture area in this menagerie that no animal would hurt by cold weather

I remember that. That's actually how I found your templates in the first place - them being plugged in the What-the-fucktopus battle video.

@Merp thank you, and yes, that's one of the things I am keeping an eye on. I'm waiting to see which doors/windows and decorations I can still use across all three factions as some of those recipes have changed too. The ACE versions will not have any placed crafting stations as of right now.

I started this project waaay before ACE was announced so I wanted to finish it all with the same base compatibility. My first templates even showed up in a dev stream for the boss battle. It was a really sweet shout out and an awesome surprise.

@Biskuit Thank you :) I made these playing the Northern Alliance without ACE installed all in the release build (vanilla). However, I did test them on all three factions to see if they would build and in all three biomes. Even with the wonky way that the base game professions work in terms of unlocks the crafting stations all have the same IDs so they work cross faction. ACE's crafting stations have unique ID's and the default ones are disabled so that's why they don't show up.

@biskuit, yes, ACE has unique crafting station objects for all three races, these objects having unique recipes fitting for the preferred biome and resources of the race. And these templates were all crafted using vanilla, due to, I can only assume, the relative incompleteness of the ACE mod.

There is, thankfully, the workaround mentioned in the description, so it is not a case of ''you must pick ACE *or* these templates."

from what i can see so far regarding the pack, the buildings look really great. But theres an issue as the people already describes. So far it seems like the crafting stations that are used are the ascendancy stations. Im playing right now as Northern Alliance without any reembarks so far. My default crafting stations (cooking atleast) are not the same as the ones in the required item list. Have you by any chance created all templates while playing ascendency? or has ACE actually diversified the specific crafting stations for the kingdoms?

@Zairan Are you using ACE or any mods that change the construction recipe for the crafting stations? If so they technically count as new items so they are not included in these templates. The only workaround at current is to save a local copy of these templates without the missing items.

These were designed just for the base game. I will be making ACE versions once the ACE mod team has reached a point of completion.

I've build all the crafting houses and it wont let me place down the crafting stations itself no mater what i do. I've crafted all of them multiple times and still nothing. Do I have to rebuild the whole building, cancel the stations and then place them afterwards?

I'm kinda lost.

Love your mods though. They are truely a piece of art.
