Description
Plot:
Duke has been captured by the aliens and has been taken to their prison on the moon. This prison used to be a supply hub for the astronauts that came there, now... It's just riddled with alien scum. Even though Duke has never been here, it still looks familiar to those with an older eye.
But... There's no time for past events. IT'S TIME TO KICK ALIEN ASS!

About:
This is a remake of the first level from Wolfenstein 3D. The biggest change is that instead of being in a castle, you're on the moon. The map has been themed around this concept and some areas have been altered to follow with this theme.

Map Length:
Short-medium length

This is also my first map, so feedback would be absolutely appreciated. ENJOY!!

Thx for the feedback Skarma. I appreciate it and I'm certainly going to make more maps in the future, but I will also be make maps for Ion Maiden when that game is fully released.

Pretty decent for a first attempt. You've certainly captured the layout of the original E1M1 from Wolfenstein 3D very well. I also liked how the fire extinguisher was placed, seems like a nice little touch.

As mentioned below, some of the sprites a little oversized but I can look past those considering the level flows very well. I also think it could've done with a few more health items, I ended up having to tackle the last few rooms with only 1 health but the level isn't too difficult anyway.

Nice work, hope to see more from you in future.

A nice meat-and-potatoes duke level. The set pieces outside the windows were pretty cool. You can end up missing a whole branch of the map, though, depending on which way you go at the fork. Also secrets 3-5 don't really do a whole lot for you by the time you find them in single player, and those particular ones might be hidden a little TOO well in my opinion. Had to go full-on Wolfenstein mode and oof-arg-where-is-it the whole map to find it.

Always great to see something new on the workshop for the Megaton version though.

Thx for the feedback Sixty Four, I'm currently working on improving my shading technique with a new map, one that is an completely original map. A lot of the locations in this map were before I learned about a bunch of new techniques and mechanics for map making, but still, I'm happy you liked it and again I really appreciate your feedback.

Its really not bad for a first map at all. Design and structure is above average for a first map. And the pace/progress of the map is good, not too crazy with a balanced level of monsters for the weapons and pick ups available. My first play through I missed the shotgun room so it is rewarding to explore some before progress.

I think progress could of been slowed down some by having to find a keycard or a switch to unlock a door or two. The sprites could use some scaling down as there a bit too big. And the level could use some shading! But it was a nice play, good job look forward to more maps.
