Description
The common wastelander carries a .357 revolver.

The common gambler carries a .44 magnum.

The common officer stationed at the Hoover Dam carries a .50 caliber handgun and would really prefer you not be asking the engineers to play a game of Caravan.

Whether you're making an example out of the last hooligan who swindled you out of your caps in a casino, taking your final stand in the steel bowels of a ghoul-ridden vault, or merely patrolling the Mojave and wishing for a nuclear winter, this handgun will help you pack enough punch to reduce your enemies into heaps of meaty paste smeared along the wasteland. Boasting a single-stacked magazine of 12.7mm bullets, this beautiful remnant of Pre-War manufacturing will let everyone know that it's you who's calling the shots when you enter the room. Blast away all those fiends, legion, irradiated rejects, and any other Democracy-compromisers alike just like Uncle Sam would want you to.

The 12.7mm pistol from Fallout: New Vegas, a favorite sidearm of high level npc's and couriers alike, replaces the magnum pistol in Left 4 Dead 2.

Huh, somehow, some way, it was in fact shorter. Anyway, I've made sure the sound lengths match up, so it should work now.

You sure? I looked at the audio file for the magnum gunfire and it's a bit too short.

I can't seem to replicate the error, and the .wav sound is cut the correct length with the proper settings. Try deleting the sound.cache in left4dead2/left4dead2/sound/ and/or verifying integrity of game cache.

@GENTLEMEN, BEHOLD MY NEGATIVITY

I've considered doing missile launchers, and the miss launcher would be the optimal fit for the arcing of the grenade launcher for sure. Animations would take some working to get right though, so while it's not an urgent priority I'll probably get around to it one day.
