Description
When you play a co-op game using the true co-op mod bosses will spawn items in the corners of the room instead of in the center, each player can only go near one corner so all players get one item each.

It also takes into account if you have there's options and can spawn 2 items in each corner of the room instead of 1.

Only triggers for boss fights that actually play the VS intro animation. (except for mom fight aka polaroid/negative spawn, that still happens as normal)


There are a couple of settings you can change:
First is whether players are assigned a corner when entering the room or when taking an item.
So basically if any corner mode is enabled you can decide who gets which items.

Second is whether the game spawns items based on the number of players or just spawns items in all 4 corners regardless of player count.
This setting does not let you take extra items, each player still only gets the item(s) in one corner, they just get to pick which one.
If both settings are enabled and you have less than 4 players it gives all players even more choice over what items they get.

You can change the settings by using the Mod Config Menu or by opening the console and entering "anycornermode" or "capitemsbyplayers"

As of the Repentance DLC the game has its own multi item system after bosses so this mod is basically obsolete, you can still get the item room version though.

try going into the mod config menu settings (not just the menu in general but the actual section specifically for the config menu itself) and enabling compatibility mode

Sometimes, when both player can choose one of two items, the second player can get both like ms office vizcat said. And in the last run i even had that player one had only one time to choose and another one which he could buy for 15$ o.O that was really weird

Hmm, we only had those 2 mods, true co-op and co-op stats mod. The run is already over ofc but if i find something ill notice you about it

weird, I'm not able to get that to happen to me, tried out the pack and stand-alone versions of this and treasure room and more/there's options items always disappeared after one was taken

Oh small bug i noticed on my current run. With more options Player 2 is able to grab both items

hmm, im not getting that on my end, are you using the pack or individual mod? only thing that comes to mind is maybe the AI mod is active and trying to move player 2

also not getting random numbers, unless you're talking about numbers appearing in the corners after taking an item? that's just to show which players have already taken an item

with locking the players to the sides disabled, there is still a specific spot (near the center) that pushes players away. had a friend get pushed into the boss trapdoor because of this. was real lame. if you could fix it id appreciate it. see if the treasure room version of this mod has the same bug too. numbers also appear at certain random points when they shouldnt be there, and also id double check if the items are actually locked to the room grid, i remember seeing one whose pedestal was slightly inside the wall (but still grabbable)
