AG LT-06 Amtrak

The Amtrak is the big brother to the Mautehuala. It was not meant to replace the role of the Mautehuala, as it has a much larger figure. It is mainly meant to provide ground cover for infantry, as it has thick armor. Somehow, it weighs 82k kilograms, despite 7 blocks of frontal armor, 3 of side armor, and 3 of rear armor. It has a crew of 2, but it is reversed, with the driver in the back and gunner in the front. The reason for this is that both cockpits can face inward where they can be easily connected by conveyors. The second, more sinister reason, is that the front of the tank is the most likely to get hit and destroyed first. This can leave tanks crippled as gunners become sitting ducks once the driver is killed. When an Amtrak takes a devastating hit to the front, the driver may outlive the gunner, meaning he can retreat, repair, and fight another day. 72% of the remaining crew survive after frontal hull loss in Amtraks, compared to an average of 12% in other tanks. It is armed with 4 rocket launchers on a small sloped turret. What may be the most amazing feature of the Amtrak is its speed. It can quickly accelerate to a maximum of 45 m/s on flat ground. Similarly weighing tanks such as the LT-02 Risus cap at 20 m/s. Its chassis was so wildly popular that 2 variants were made: the AA-05 Amfispo, and the APC-04 Perevozchik, with similar specifications.
