Consisting of;
'Valath' Company' & 'Shyrack' Squadron. [589th SRU]

We at the 985th Mechanized Assault Battalion are a mixed bag of both first time & experienced ARMA players who play in a semi-casual/semi-serious group. The unit is based in the Oceanic time zones. The group itself normally focuses on acting as a rapid deployment force that can be sent to hot zones via multiple insertion methods.

The main element, 'Valath' Company, is currently a platoon-sized element divided into three sections. These elements focus on utilizing different playstyles, tactics and internal training to accommodate a variety of members.

We also provide members with an opportunity to become a pilot of the aviation squadron known as 'Shyrack' Squadron. In Shyrack you will be tasked to fly CAS missions as well as act as infantry transport for the majority of the unit.

Requirements:
- Must be 16+ years of age or vouched by one of our members.
- must be located in the AUS, NZ or the Oceania region
- must have a working microphone
- must have Teamspeak installed
