It was on the very precipice of the Bleeding Hills that Axe cornered Necrolyte in mortal combat. The bloodthirsty Oglodi warrior rushed forth to decapitate Rotund'jere, who stood there grievously wounded by the savage attacks of the Bloodmist Fury in flesh. Knowing that the time of his end is nigh, the Pope of Pestilence uttered the Curse of the Arma Putris, just as the sharp edge of Mogul Khan's Axe was slicing through his neck like hot knife through butter. Overwhelmed with his hard-earned victory, Axe took the rancid head of Rotund'jere and let out a deafening warcry upon the cliff of Bleeding Hills; but his triumph was short lived, as the curse cast upon him mutated the weapon into something sinister and vile, oozing puss from many fistulas that formed on its surface while weakening its owner, threatening to take hold over his very soul. He was given an ultimatum by the Dead God himself - if he was to let the weapon feed on the fresh corpses left in his wake, then it would grant him immense power in return, making him capable of tearing whole armies apart; however, if he failed to satisfy the eternal hunger of The Corruptor then the weapon will feast on Axe's own flesh, slowly converting him into an abomination to fill the ranks under Undying's command. The last remnant of the Red Mist Army reluctantly accepted this ultimatum, but swore to himself that he will wreak havoc upon the Lands of Turstarkuri, where Dead God took residence after the massacre of the monks. The Dead God laughed at this oath, while resurrected Necrolyte and a shady, rotten creature under foul, demonic influence grinned at the prospect of snatching the putrid cadaver of Oglodi's last general.
