Welcome to Torres Estate. A somewhat spookyish adventure map revolving around Mr Torres in his late years after retiring from being a school teacher. The map is also really fun for fighting NPCs or playing Murder with your friends. Have fun!!

oh yeah I totally agree when it comes to originality with something jumping out and scaring you. Part of the fear is that its something new which puts you off worse than something you've already seen. but as for jump scares I feel maybe 1 or 2 is good since the idea is to startle and not be the only type of thing to scare you if that makes sense

I think it's better this way, the story and enviromental storytelling you crafted here is so many times better than either a hl2 corpse popping up or a jpeg of the girl from Exorcist exploding into your ears, which is something you'd find in other maps very commonly

Thanks! My earlier maps don't really have jump scares because I felt they were a bit tacky at the time but I've since opened up to them recently.

This is cool. I like the story in this one, I thought of Rammstein's Wiener Blut that tells the Fritzl guy's deal the moment I saw the cage and the board of rules. The map is fairly open and there's absolutely zero jumpscares so I can mess around without funny jpegs popping up.

Wow... For me, it's really difficult question. I love all of them. I love Chaosphere because of New Millenium Cyanide Christ and Corridor of Chameleons, breakdowns in these songs are insane. And Obzen because of Bleed and Pravus best riffs of all time
