M3NTiS Landing Pad (Large) V.1.0

Description
After being really disappointed with he offerings for Landing pads we now have one that is perfect for those Capital Ship Maneuvers on planet. I have a smaller version of this which is fine for even a large CV with the front overhang. But after people falling off the front and an issue spawning a CV on it which fell into the drink it's now a 3rd longer.

The other issue with a lot of these Landing Pads is structural integrity. You remove or change a bloc and half the Landing Pad collapses. This is 100% structurally sound and the supports are where they are for a reason.

If you want the smaller version posted let me know.

Features include:

~ Solar Powered - Fully self sufficient after first fuel expires
~ Repair Bay - Remember to save Template
~ Power Light Switch when landed - Saves energy and prevents glare inside ship
~ 2 x Rocket Turrets to protect CV when Landed
~ Miner or HV ramp and access under Landing Pad
~ 3 x Storage for Quick Transfer from HV - Access via Landing pad
~ 3 x numbered Drop box storage
~ Lift for Pad access
~ 2 x Stairwell - Includes emergency access from front of Landing Pad
~ Large Ramp for HV loading to CV
~ All automated / Sensors

It's not a cheap Landing pad, but after seeing the bulky and excessive pads out there using way too many blocks I thought it best we make something we want.

~

Placing. The best I have found for placing this - and other items - is to face backwards just in fornt of where you want the Landing pad to be. Hit 'Spawn' and then F5 to bring out your drone. Turn the drone round and you will now be looking at the front of the Landing pad, once Green and in the position you want, use the PgDn Key to drop it into the ground so that the HV dock underneath is at most 1 metal support out of the ground - this will mean you can still get on the ramp.

~

Respect to Skynightb's Pad as this gave me the inspiration for the Solar array to make it self sufficient. Just way too many excess blocks - sorry bud.

I agree, lifts for vehicles would be nice. Also the linking of Storage boxes to create bigger scroll-able storage.

Awesome, my landing pad inspired you to create something cool :D I like the platform below the pad and how you placed the repair console. Wish we could have lifts for cargo as well and an elevator for SVs and HVs, that would really compliment your pad, subscribed :D
