GDI SSC ''Icarus'' Target

Notes:
- This ship isn't multiplayer-friendly, since it uses a mod that's kind of a cheat. However if you're playing offline or with friends who are willing to deal with the mod, then go right ahead.
- Yes, GDI DOES stand for Global Defense Initiative, however the lore of the GDI in the Airships: CTS universe is MUCH different than in the C&C universe. I won't go into details here, but just know that it's different.

The GDI Orbital Stratospheric Command Ship "Icarus" is the 3rd generation of SSC-class ships ever to be constructed and put into service. Utilizing the "Tanka-Johnson 4840 Matter/Antimatter" reactor core and twin "Anubis K-3 Hydrogen-6 TNE" thrusters, the Icarus was designed with refits in mind, allowing for many different models of Icarus ships to be constructed and deployed for service.

The Target-model is exactly that, a target. Engineers needed a way to do stress testing on Icarus hull structures without the possibility of doing damage to an actual ship, and as a result, created the Test-model: a Capital-model Icarus SSC that has been stripped of all weapons and items of value, leaving behind a bare framework able to be piloted remotely by android crewmembers. GDI field commanders soon found out about the project, and forced the scientists to order the construction of more Test-models. Confused, the scientists did as they were ordered, and called down 15 more Test-model craft.
The scientists soon figured out that the commanders were using them as targets for actual Icarus SSCs to improve aim. Relatively cheap to manufacture and de-orbit, this was the easiest way to improve tactics and aim at the same time. They later renamed the Test-model into the now-known Target-model.
