Hello,

Today I would like to present to you the A2B "Harpia" Multirole Air Superiority Advanced Fighter. Survival ready!

!AIRCRAFT IS EXTREMELY EASY TO USE, DO NOT AFRAID OF TECHNOLOGY, IT IS YOUR FRIEND!




The main advantage of this aircraft is programming which allows the pilot to see more and act faster than the enemy. Thanks to its R1 (light) and R2 (heavy) guided missiles it can destroy the target before it even spot you.


Dimensions and weight:
Length: 17,6m
Wing span: 14,7m
Height: 4m
Weight (empty/max payload): 53,5/82t

Armament:
Number of hardpoints: 6
Stock missile: R1 light missile; R2 heavy missile
Range of missiles: 50-3000m
Gatling guns: 2

What`s so special about it?

The aircraft is equipped with active radar which will show you the target position within 800m range on the screen.
Radar is spared with guided missiles which allows you to launch them without aiming at the target within 800m range (its position doesn`t matter, it will be destroyed automatically after hitting one button). At distances longer than 800m target can be destroyed by manually locked targets up to the 3000m range.

It is however highly recommended to shoot missiles at least 20m above the ground and for best effect with altitude advantage relative to the target.
The plane is inspired by Su-27/MiG-29 aircraft family and F-15/F-16 fighters.

How do i shoot the R1 and R2 missiles? When i use hotkeys they just fall to the ground

What is the problem? Please, keep in mind that some functionality may be already outdated. Also try to turn on hypergridding in scenario options

@sony0273 that is because the hypergridded interrior turret is inside. Keen decided to make hipergrid as separate word option so to make it work again you need to tick "enable supergridding" in scenario settings

@davidtorru22 Not true, you can build it fully in survival. Subgrids are only missiles presented on the picture for which you can find separate blueprint in description.

You can do simple test yourself - check the distance you can spot enemy fighter with turned off antennas/beacons/personal broadcasting at night with and without radar at low altitude. You can also make similar test with ground targets like tanks or small bases.

What you said is agreeable but you really over-hype that "radar" when you say the user will see the enemy before the enemy sees them, usually targets are identified by both sides way before 800m
