Description
Notice of Abandonment:

Microsoft has been systematically patching the loop-holes exploited to offer population bonuses. While the game doesn't perform well at (2,000 Units * 8 Human Players), it does perform. Microsoft's choice to neglect the modding community and eliminate the features that made the original Forgotten Empires possible leaves me disheartened and no longer interested in this project. Microsoft may yet return to an ethos of freedom and user customizability, but this isn't currently reflected in their current corporate policy.

My published files will remain for reference. My notes are contained within. Anyone looking to take-up the project may, and is encouraged to do so. AoE II is a passion that connects me to some of the best people I know. It’s those connections, not the game, that are important. To those who enjoy/ed this mod, thank you for sharing a passion in one of the best games ever produced.

All stone and gold mines offer 50,000 resource, fish and game are worth 500 food, trees are each worth 500 resource.Farms and Fishing Traps Auto-reseed at no cost to the player. This works for both human and AI players.

@Raq( Because it's a pain- same reason you complain rather than implementing it yourself. The end result is buggy and for all intents and purposes a very large value can be effectively infinite, but easier to interact with (especially when 2's compliment integers are involved).

why people making mods like 10k resource or 50k, why dont just use 7e+013 (malay fish trap) to make infinity resources

Great mod! Is it possible to get this to work together with the Persistent Corpses mod (http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=842804516) in the campaign? They affect the same file.

This mod still works. But now I think the game has moved too far ahead and we're having issues such as walking over water etc - which completely break the game. I don't know how anyone can play without this mod. It is pretty much required now. I'd really like to try and get this mod working properly with the new version. I'm no stranger to programming, but I've never modded AOE2. Any pointers? Any help would be appreciated.

Population mod (used) to do both, MS patched it out of existance.
