Wenlock Branch

Description
::Work In Progress:: - The Wenlock Branch was part of a network of lines running in the centre of Shropshire in the United Kingdom. At this time, the route is drivable from Wellington to Craven Arms or vice-versa, with station stops present, but limited scenery. Oh. The signalling is utterly broken as well, but that's the current target to fix.

The signalling is completely borked and no matter what I do, I cannot make it work. I've deleted the whole lot about five times, rebuilt from scratch, re-signalled with colour light signals and LMS UQ signals... Nothing has worked. It means the route is dead unless I can find a solution using assets that I have access to.

Will you upload an updated version? It's a very nice route but i'm waiting for more scenery ._.

Lovely route. Very brutal gradients! Great fun driving a Pannier with 5 coaches! :steamhappy: Many thanks Amar for creating and sharing.

"Yes" and "Yes" are the short answers.

The version on my desktop, which I need to try and fix a couple of broken bits on before I can upload it hopefully early in January, has track laid all the way from Wellington to where Telford Central station currently is, plus the junction and track, but little else at present, down Lawley Bank and round to Buildwas. There's also broken track down from Madeley Junction down to meet the line North of Coalbrookdale (the existing track to Ironbridge Power Station) which is part of what needs fixing. The ultimate goal is that all of this will be drivable and have scenery. Right now, you can drive the full length of the route apart from between Wellington and Madeley Junction because there's a big gap in the middle, which will get fixed, but probably not in the next uploaded version.

Thanks Dan, it is indeed. It's an evil climb, from Buildwas to Farley Halt particularly, worse so with any significant load on the back. The 44xx manages it without too much difficulty, the 57xx manages it provided the load isn't too heavy. Doing it in a Class 66 is cheating. ;)

The main reason I've put this up in its current state is so that people can have fun with the hill if they want to. The big thing I've noticed is that you really need to be careful with water. There's only one filling point at the moment, Much Wenlock station. I'll add more as I find out where exactly they were.

Awesome! Was this the one with the 117 you were trying to get up a hill a little bit back?
