Report a translation problem
I don't know whether you're using Blender or not, but be sure that all the mesh parts are assigned to the right texture parts and names. Here's an example of what it should look like: https://i.imgur.com/VmzRyTP.jpg . The clothes must be assigned to a particular body part in order for it to work properly.
Likewise, in the VMT and QC files, make sure the texture directory is in the right folder. Otherwise, the Source engine will just render it as purple and black checkers error. Double check the " and $ command signs as any of these missing will also result in a texture error.
