Uno Ultimately Scripted

Description
Uno Ultimately Scripted is a highly scripted version Uno, with some minor alterations derived from Uno Supreme. View the source code on GitHub[github.com].

This version of Uno has a happy middle ground of using six card colors (Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, Cyan) to add a challenging competitive edge, as well as adding extra draw cards (Such as +3 and +8).

This scripted version of Uno makes use of many of the newest TableTop Simulator scripting features, including UI buttons for changing game settings, selecting the color of play, and more.

Scripted elements keep the game pretty, fast, and fun. Throw cards from your hand as they instantly snap to the deck, literally throw cards at the other players as they're automatically drawn, and keep up with the direction of play with the spinning middle card. Turns are automatically handled by the script when cards are played, and cards are automatically dealt.

Via the UI Game Options the Host can choose to enable or disable various "House Rules" depending on those of which their house plays by.

Please be wary of poor internet connections. High ping may cause players to become out-of-sync with automated parts of the script.

The Cards

0 - 9: Regular playing cards. Try to remove these from your hand until you have no cards remaining.

Skip: Skip the next player from taking a turn.

Reverse: Switch the direction of play immediately, giving the player behind you another turn, and so forth.

Delayed Reverse: A delayed Reverse card, causing the direction of play to change after the next player takes their turn. Allows for unforeseen attacks.

+2 / +3: When played, the next player in the line-of-play must draw the respective number of cards, and then loses their turn. If Draw Stacking is enabled, and the drawing player has a matching card in their hand, they may play the card to increase the drawn amount and pass it to the next player in line.

Wild +4: When played, the player who played the card will choose a new color-of-play, and the next player in the line-of-play must draw 4 cards (unless they have a No! card).

Wild +8: When played, the player who played the card will choose a new color-of-play, and the next player in the line-of-play must draw 8 cards (unless they have a No! card).

Wild No!: When any form of attack card is played against a player, that player may choose to play this card.
Once played, that player may take their turn as normal. Since this card does not have a color, any card may be played on top of it. This card cannot be played unless the player who holds it is being attacked.

Wild Discard: The discard card may be played to remove all cards of a singular color from the players hand. The Discard card cannot be used to win the game: If the players hand only contains cards of a singular color, one of the cards must be kept after discarding. If after playing this card the player only has one card remaining, the chance to discard is passed to the next player in the line-of-play.

House Rules

Stack Draws: Stack +2 or +3 on top of their own respective cards, adding up the total and passing it to the next player.

Rotate on 0: When a 0 is played on the deck, all players rotate hands opposite the direction of play.

Swap on 7: When a 7 is played on the deck, choose another player to swap hands with.

Challenge (TBA): When a player plays a plus wild against you, challenge if they could've played another card instead. Wilds should be a last resort. If the challenge is successful, they must draw the cards shown instead.

Can you update the game mode so that when someone plays a 0 or 7 theres no random script error? Also fix the bug where a swap or rotate sometimes will end the game for no apparent reason?

@ChickenFri It does, but when I have some more free time I need to fix some bugs that were introduced after the last game update.

@MORF If somebody only has one card in their hand and another player presses the "UNO" button, the person with only one card (that hasn't called uno) is given 2 cards. If you want different options for this, just let me know.

What happens when a person forgets to call UNO? We don't know what to do since the scripting does not allow for punishment.

It would be nice to have a button on a side of the table. Whenever a 5 is played, all players have to press that button, the last to press it grabs 3 cards.

No plans to allow disabling anything yet, but if I do it might be for the wilds: +8, No, and Discard. The other cards are kind of what makes this Uno what it is. It's meant to be 'crazy'

Nice,
is there an option to disable specific cards?
Like the extra colors, or the cards with 2 colors etc.?
