Description
ASM Hive class mobile base

Fully Vanilla

The Hive was designed as the main base of any land operations ASM may carry. Being able to sustain and deploy up to 16 aircraft, equiped with 4 refineries and 4 assemblers, and a land vehicle bay, the hive offers an excellent mobile base of operations. These carriers are usually deployed from orbit, making use of several parachutes to come to a safe landing.

The common complement for a Hive usually consists of 12-14 attack craft including fighters, gunships and bombers, 2-4 support ships for minning and building operations, and one or two rovers for scouting. However this can vary greatly depending on the mission.

The Hive can safely reach and drive at around 20-40m/s, in mostly flat areas like plains and deserts. It is recomended to come to a stop slowly, due to the fact that some rovers might not be attached to the base itself in any way, making a fast deceleration…. Interesting. A good way to slow down is to simply start turning.

For orbital deployment all you need to do is turn on the gyroscopes and open the parachutes, control your descent so you arrive horizontally and, please, dont try landing on mountains.

If well the Hive should never engage in direct close quarters combat, it comes equiped with 4 missile turrets and 7 gatling turrets, plus several anti infantry turrets for self defense.

>NEVER< press P, it would disconnect every single aircraft that this thing has loaded. Instead use the parking brake in the first toolbar slot.
The rover seen in the images is the BSE explorer rover by Keq http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1297616884

A conveyor port was added on the side to allow for connection with an ASM M.U.T.
