Mediocre Black Armor - version 3

Description
ABOUT THIS MOD
Existing armor mediocrely painted black. The stats are the same as vanilla with just a hint of Stealth multiplier where applicable.

NOTE
I am currently on hiatus from modding. Not sure when I'll get back to it. Version 4 is indefinitely on hold.

UPDATED TO VERSION 3 - SEPT 8
Changes:
- Revert stealth stats for metal and chainmail based armors back to vanilla values
- Remove armor/blueprints from vanilla vendors
- Added custom traders (Rogue Traders) selling the armor/blueprints in most town/village
- Applied Minor Mesh Fixes to all Mediocre Black Armor variants
- Merge timor1234's Patch for Fixing Clipping as part of main mod

Plan for Version 4:
- Rework all armor/clothing textures to make it a little brighter
- Release reworked textures in stages
- Possible alternative version for those who prefer current black armor texture (if there is demand for it)


WHAT'S INCLUDED
70+ body armor, hats, helmet, mask, pants and boots in mediocre black variant. Covers almost all purchasable armor plus a few clothing as well.

IS IT CRAFTABLE?
Yes. The armors follow same crafting recipe and machine as vanilla ones. Blueprints sold by Rogue Traders.

HOW TO GET THE ARMOR/BLUEPRINT
As of Version 3, the armor/blueprints are no longer puchaseable at vanilla shops. They're now sold by Rogue Traders all over the map.

WHAT ARE THE ROGUE TRADERS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM
Rogue Traders are custom traders selling Mediocre Black Armor variant armor/blueprints. There's at least one of them in most town/village. Major towns can have up to two Rogue Traders in it.

They usually hang out at the bar. If the bar is full or there is no bar in the town/village, you'll see them wandering around the place, getting in and out of buildings looking shady AF. They can be pretty hard to spot sometimes because they're wearing all black.

A word of advice: If you're tempted to attack the Rogue Traders, please don't. They're pretty deadly and they're not quite...human.

Version 3 includes timor1234's Patch for Fixing Clipping as part of the mod. Thank you to timor1234 for making the patch and for his permission to include it in this update.

As of Version 3, the patch is part of Mediocre Black Armor. However the patch only covers armor/clothing included in Mediocre Black Armor. You will still need his main Fixing Clipping Issues mod if you want to fix overlap/clipping meshes for vanilla armor/clothing.

Can we please get rid of the rogues and add blueprints to normal vendors, or maybe make the rogues have their own city? they literally go crazy every time. I want the armor not the rogues. PLEASE

The Rogue Traders ultimately end up fighting and killing mass quantities of guards in practically every city. It's so severe, this is a much bigger impact of the mod than the gear. Every city I frequent now has few guards at all, and several left crawling around for their duties. Bartenders may also be killed, and then the Rogue's behaviour becomes a real problem.

Give it about 30-60 ig days. Somehow the rogue ends up fighting the guards and it pulls almost all of them from the city, then there is a mass slaughter and dismemberment. And then he ends up with only a 2000 cat bounty for "assault". It's bloody murder.

It's as if secretly the mod is there to help thieves by thinning out a city's guards so that you can steal things more easily.

idk why but the rogue traders are running amok in all my holy nation cities (good on them ig, ♥♥♥♥ the holy nation), but anyone know if there's a version of this with less OP rogue traders or any other alternative like that?

I never thought twice about this mod, decided to try it on my new playthrough---and now I will never play without this mod. I never once gave a ♥♥♥♥ about aesthetics, apparently now I do, and the subtle stealth bump is a nice perk. Excellent mod.
