This is a step by step guide on how to Build a WMD (Weapon of Mass Deletion)... This is an actual guide on how to build a Nuclear weapon and refine Uranium. Monika has been hard at work Deleting thots for a while now, help her out and Build the Atom Bomb so she can delete all the other girls the protag may think about!

This is a "Simple" guide on how to build one of the WMDs, Nuclear Bombs!

Now you can help Monika delete all the millions of other girls you may think about with the single push of a button!

Important Information
Here is a quick overview of all the Nuclear Terminology that you need to know.
(PS) there is no math in this tutorial for simplicity

Fission: the splitting of atoms

Fusion: the combination of atoms

Fissle: the Fuel used for nuclear Fission (U235 / Pu239)

Sub-critical mass: A mass of fissle that is not large enough to sustain a continuous Fission reaction.

Critical mass: A mass of fissle that can sustain a Fission reaction, but cannot exponentially cause Fission.

Super-Critical mass: A mass of Fissle that can exponentially cause Fission and therfore an Explosion.

Enriched Uranium: Uranium that has more U235 than found in nature.


All Types of Nuclear Bombs
Here is a quick overview of all the Nuclear bomb types as well as the Pros and Cons to making them.

There will not be any more complex bomb types in this guide
such as: Nuetron Bombs, Salted Bombs, Nuclear Emp, etc.

Fission Bombs

-Gun type) A small nuclear device using two Sub-critical pieces of Uranium 235 slamed together to start fission. Ex: Hiroshima
-Small Kiloton explosions
-High Radioactivity
-Almost Garunteed to work
-Uses lots of U235

-Implosion Assembly) A larger nuclear device compared to Gun type which uses sub-critical Plutonium 239 being crushed by explosives into Critical Mass. Ex: Nagasaki
-Small kiloton explosion
-High Radioactivity
-Relatively stable
-Uses low amounts of U235

Fusion Bombs

-Two Stage) Uses a Fission starter (stage 1) to ignite Dueterium/Tritium in a thermonuclear explosion (stage 2) Ex: Most Bikini Atoll Tests
-Highest (possible) Yield ≈1-15 megatons
-Extremely efficient
-Low Fallout to yeild ratio
-Can be made into an ICBM

-Three Stage) Uses The same system as Two Stage Fusion Bomb + 1 more Fusion stage
Ex: Tsar Bomba
-Highest (possible) Yield up to 100 megatons
-Extremely efficient
-Low Fallout to yeild ratio
-Large Size

Pure Fusion Bombs

-Antimatter) These would be the most efficent weapon where fusion is achieve through antimatter annihilating regular matter, without a Fission Primary.
-Highest yeild (??? megatons)
-Garunteed to work
-Theoretically has zero Fallout
-Near impossible to contain / obtain


Getting the Nuclear Fuel
So The first and most important part to building a nuclear bomb is getting the Nuclear material. There are three well known types of fuel for a Fission reaction, and you have probably heard of them they are: Uranium (235) and Plutonium (239)

Out of those materials you will only need one for the basic Fission Bomb, that being the U235.

Uranium ore is not common, nor is it even possible to obtain in large quantities without the government going to your house...

However I can explain how to enrich the Uranium

U235 only makes up 0.72% of all uranium, so in ordered to get the amount you need for a Fission reaction you will need approximately 100Ibs of regular uranium to get 1Ib of the 90% U235 Enriched (Weapons Grade) Uranium.

Enrichment Processes

Diffusion Method) The simple explaination is that you are basically straining out the U235 by succing it through a filter.

(How it works)
-Gaseous diffusion is forces gaseous uranium hexafluoride through semi-permeable membranes (a filter). This produces a slight separation between the molecules containing U235 and U238.
PS this is very inefficient

Electromagnetic isotope separation) This uses Large elecromagnets to separate charged Uranium Ions by weight

(How it works) U235 = Light blue Diagram---->
-metallic uranium is first vaporized, and then ionized to positively charged ions. The cations are then accelerated and deflected by magnetic fields onto their respective collection targets which is dictated by their mass.

Centrifuge Method) This is probably the harder of the three most common methods, but it requires you to have a spinning cylinder that can hold Gassous Uranium, so it is incredibly important that the cylinder is completely sealed.

(How it works)

-As the cylinder rotates, there is a strong centripetal force so that the heavier gas molecules containing U238 move toward the outside of the cylinder and the lighter gas molecules rich in U235 collect closer to the center.
-The bottom of the rotating cylinder is heated, producing convection currents that move the U235 up the cylinder, where it can be collected by scoops.



There are more methods than these, but they are even more complicated and classified...

Making Plutonium
Plutonium is not found in nature, but it is rather easy to make in high purity for Nuclear Weapons!

In ordered to make Pu239, you will need to do some partial enrichment to Uranium, so that there is 10-30% U235 present, now this is when you will need to spark the reaction with some spare neutrons. The neutrons will not cause U238 to split, however the U235 will, causing there to be a Critical Mass. The criticality will never go Super but continue as a passive reaction (this will heat up alot).

You have successfully made a Nuclear Reactor if you have done everything above.
(be sure to cool it)

The Process

U235 will spilt, this releases energy and a couple neutrons. The neutrons released from this reaction are not going fast enough to split U238 atoms, and instead cause it to become U239. U239 is not a stable isotope, and will decay into Neptunium 239 which is also unstable, and will decay into Pu239.

Pu239 is easily removed from the depleated Uranium by chemical means
Assembling a Gun Type Fission Bomb
In ordered to build the Gun Type Fission bomb you will need a Critical mass of Uranium split into two seperate semi-spherical Sub-critical halves. The Important part is that the two halves are never close or touching, since U235 has the chance to spontaniously split and cause the chain reaction. Now the orb of uranium should be aproximately 110 Ibs, assuming there is no neutron reflector coated on the fissle.

Now you need to position the Uranium on both sides of a cylinder, with one side having a conventional explosive to slam the two halves together (which will start the Super-critical phase).

On the other side of the cylinder you will need to place a neutron source to start the reaction, one option is Californium, which is a natural neutron emitter.
(PS) this part is basically required, although it will never be mentioned for some reason...

(extra step) You can also coat the Uranium in U238 which is extra fissle for high speed neutrons as well as a neutron reflector, reducing the amount of enriched uranium needed for a Critical mass.
Keep in mind you may need to reduce the mass
of uranium on each half of the Critical mass.
Assembling an Implosion Assembly Type Bomb
In ordered to build a Plutonium based Implosion Bomb, you will need a Sub-Critical mass of Pu239, that is right on the verge of becoming Critical. The Trick to this bomb is increasing the density of the Pu239 temporarily through the use of chemical explosives on the exterior of the fissle core. For this design it is also helpful to add Uranium surrounding the Pu239 core so there can be extra fission.

It is important that there is also a neutron spark in the center of the device to ensure that this design actually works, since the chemical explosives would most likely destroy all your work otherwise.

This bomb is simpler than the other, but it is not as garunteed to work, so if you want ot make this it will require some math (specifically calculus) so Im not explaining that.
Assembling a Multi-stage Thermonuclear Bomb
In ordered to Assemble a thermonuclear weapon the first thing you will need to do is build the Implosion Assembly bomb first, this will be used as a Primary.

The Primary is the initial Fission reaction used to cause the intense heat and pressure required to cause a Fusion reaction. The Fusion reaction is meant ot cause high energy fast moving neutrons to hit and split some of the U238 that otherwise, under normal conditions, would not split. The primary energy source of this weapon is the secondary Fission Fusion reaction.

To build one you will need liquid tirtium and deuterium in a cylinder Coated in a U238 tamper, the Primary was already explained above.

Testing Your Weapon
The next most important thing to do assuming you assembled a bomb already is to test it.

You will want to look for a place that is remote, where noone would care about you blowing it up
(if anyone lives in the test zone, just kick em out or blow em up) ~The United States Gov't

Conveniently we have Natsuki's house...




Never using your Nukes
Because murdur iz bad




But more importantly because using them is a path to Mutually Assured Deletion (MAD)
So don't use them... or everyone will die...
