Awesome! I'm excited to hear what you think about it!
I wanted to give more depth to the characters. Mako in particular I feel deserved his own story arc, being such a major character in the Sega version. I wanted to show how he ended up in the position he is in when you encounter him.
I feel like being able to see the world from multiple points of view helps to make the game more engaging and paints a bigger picture of the story overall.
I really wanted to make a true Shadowrun experience. Something that could be canon. I also wanted something fun. When I was making this, I tried to write it up in the style of a 1980's/1990's action movie. But my main goal overall was to make it a true sequel to the SNES game and a true prequel to the Genesis version. To make the Shadowrun 2 Drake promised Jake at the end of the SNES version, and to set off Joshua's shadowrunning career in the Sega version.
When you finish, tell me if I was able to capture that essence.
Thanks for checking it out. When you're done, tell me what you think.
There are also some Easter Eggs you may have missed in act 7-1 (My ode to the masterpiece that is Tommy Wiseau's "The Room") and also in the Jumphouse there is some hidden 4th wall breaking dialog.
Thanks for playing it all the way through. I really appreciate your feedback.
