Escape Pod

Say you're flying your spacecraft and you get attacked by aliens, you can save
yourself and your crewmates/friends. As your ship burns down, you plummet down to the nearest planet due to gravity, but you gently land in this escape pod. You'll thank me for making this when you get saved from the aliens.

controls: none, just put it on your spaceship, make a mechanism to drop this, and land safely. It will automatically lower landing gear and use thrusters to soften the impact.
